Need Help Paying for Child Care? You may be eligible for Subsidy Opportunities.

Families may be eligible for financial aid to help pay for child care, allowing parents to concentrate on their jobs or studies knowing that their children are in a safe, nurturing environment.

If your financial situation makes it impossible for you to pay for daycare in Kern County, you might qualify for state assistance. Our aim is to provide you with tools so you can enroll your child while reducing the financial strain of paying for child care.

Below are some helpful links and additional information regarding California child care assistance.

Family and Multi-Child Discounts.

We understand that raising a family can be expensive, which is why we offer discount programs for families with multiple children enrolled in our program. By enrolling more than one child at our facility, families can receive a discounted rate on tuition. This discount not only helps to reduce the overall cost of childcare, but it also allows siblings to interact and bond with each other during their time at daycare. Additionally, our multi-child discount program encourages families to prioritize their children's education and provide them with the best possible care and learning experiences. So, if you have multiple children and are interested in enrolling them, be sure to ask about our multi-child discount program and how it can benefit your family.

Opportunities and Incentives for Tax Savings.

You may be able to save even more money thanks to the tax credits and savings incentives that Congress has established in order to reduce the cost of child care for eligible taxpayers.

A federal tax credit that can help eligible people lower their year-end tax bill is the Child and Dependent Care Tax Credit. For each eligible child under the age of 17, the Child Tax Credit program may lower the amount of Federal taxes you owe.

Your company or employer can provide you a Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) so you can set away pre-tax money for child care expenses.

Every household will be affected by these tax credits and FSA adjustments differently. We are not tax experts, thus we are unable to give you advice on the precise effects on your family. The best course of action is to speak with a tax expert or preparer (tax preparation software will also have information).
